Payout Policy
How and when royalties are paid
Shotcut.io distributes creator royalty earnings based on reports received from platforms and rights-holders. Payouts do not replace or bypass YouTube Partner Program (YPP) eligibility; they can complement AdSense/Shorts ad revenue where applicable and are subject to platform policies.
Schedule
- Typical payout cadence is net‑90 from the close of a reporting month for standard programs.
- For approved Creator Pool Program participants, accelerated net‑45–60 payouts may apply on assigned tracks, as specified in your individual agreement.
- Actual timing may vary due to platform processing, dispute resolution, and reporting delays.
Methods
- Supported methods include PayPal, bank transfer, or wire, depending on region.
- Creators are responsible for accurate payout details and any provider fees.
- We follow common industry practice for minimum payout thresholds set by payment providers. Once those thresholds are met, we remit the full amount of royalties owed; we do not keep “small leftover” balances beyond what is required for fees or adjustments.
- Compliance checks (e.g., KYC/AML, tax forms) may be required before release.
Adjustments & Disputes
- Payouts reflect platform reports and may include adjustments for policy violations or claims.
- If an error is identified, we will correct it in a subsequent cycle.
